Many people are asking me about this breed, I’ll try to explain in a concise way a few basic points:
•Is one of the most independent thinking breeds, they’re called the dog-cat
•Training can take a long time and require tones of patience, it’s proved that the easiest breed to train is border collie and the most difficult afghan hound (Stanley Coren’s list, basing on instinctive, adaptive and work intelligence). House training is also difficult.
•They have not desire to please as other breeds
•Their sensitive level is one of the highest, not friendly to child’s movements and noises
•The fur requires specific and daily grooming
•Exercise requieres one of the highest, it must daily free-run or take a very long walks
•Free spirit and strong character
•Afghan hounds must be inside the house, with the rest of the family, never alone in the yard, they are very sentient dogs
•Strong hunting instinct

This boy sure loves his snow! I have always loved how he seems like he hugs the snow every time I let him outside...like he says hi, I love you to it. I finally captured this shot and had it to share it. I know you all love seeing him in his element ❄️ ...
